How can I keep grass from growing up through my gravel (with sand base) rock garden without using poisons?
My plan was to design a maintenance free patio, but now I’m constantly having to pull hundreds of little grass shoots up from my patio and it’s anything but maintenance free! Please help!

landscaping rocks or mulch?
I have a patch (5 ft by 40 ft) in the yard that i’m adding a drain to - should i cover it with mulch or rocks?? There aren’t any trees or plants to be affected by either choice. Thanks

I need the name of an old BBC America show about backyard/garden makeovers?
The host was a young man who designed “extreme” backyard makeovers. I watched it 6 or 7 years ago, maybe, and I’m sure it is no longer on. It was on around the same time as Ground Force.
The only episode I can remember had a room in the backyard that moved back and forth on tracks. It may have moved back to reveal a hot tub (or something similar), but I can’t remember. The room moving on tracks is the one thing that sticks out in my mind… I had never seen it before and I haven’t seen it since.
I can’t think of the name of the show… or the host… and it is really irritating me. Please help! lol
whats the best way to get grass clippings and leaves out of landscape rocks?
i have small rocks as part of my landscaping, apparently it is supposed to be “low maintenance” the people who lived here before me never got up the leaves or grass clippings so they are covered, when i rake them up it gets the top leaves off but all the decomposed grass and leaves is in between all the rocks and looks bad, how do i get it cleaned up properly?
leaf blower doesnt work , the leaves are all stuck to the rocks down inbetween them, they have turned to much basically.

What is the best approach to get rid of weeds & grass from landscaping (stones)?
We moved into our recently purchased house here in (MI), now that the snow is finally gone and the everything is growing/blooming, we are finding that the landscaping has some issues. The main problem is that weeds and grass is starting to grow through the white landscaping rocks. I’m not sure how long the landscaping has been there. In some of the areas I can see the black mesh material. I want to have a nicely landscape yard, and I guess I actually have that, except for the weeds and grass popping up. Any suggestions?
